RICE

We have a team with vast experience in the Rice production, quality control, Logistics and Exportation, which knows the regulations and requirements of quality, processing, and packaging that each market requires.
We originate Rice in Mercosur and we sell in the most demanding markets since 2008. Our main destinations are Central America, Europe and Turkey.
Per year we market approximately 80,000 MT of product.

BEEF

We act as a broker/buying agent for several international beef companies. Our main origin is Uruguay, but we also work with Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Our destinations are the United States, Europe and China.
We have been working for several years with Organic Meat and Feedlot Meat programs, giving the highest possible value to the exported product.

ANIMAL NUTRITION

We have specialized in logistics, quality and delivery of products destined for animal nutrition. We import the following products from the region: corn (whole and broken), rice middlings, wheat middlings, soybean meal and DDGS for our clients in Uruguay.
The presentation of the products varies depending on the demand: in bulk, bagged and in big-bags.

DAIRY PRODUCTS

We sell dairy products from Uruguay and Argentina. Our main products are Powdered Milk, Demineralized Whey (D40) and Cheese.
Southeast Asia, China, Cuba and Colombia are our main destinations.

PULSES AND SPECIALTIES

We want to generate a unique experience for our customers with Pulses and Specialties, satisfying their needs in terms of variety and quality of products and also in time delivery.
The origins are carefully chosen, and we understand success is in building strong links with our suppliers.
Our main commercialized products are Alubia, Black, Cranberry and Dark beans, Chickpeas and Popcorn. Our main destinations are Europe, Turkey, Latin America and Central America.

EXPORT

Since 2011, AgroSocio has been dedicated to live cattle export, an activity carried out in partnership with the Australian company: Austrex. Animal welfare is our main priority on this business.
China has been the main export destination, demanding Uruguayan Holland/Angus/Hereford breeds cattle.
The shipments are of about 10,000 animals with 35 days of travel, making animal feeding on board crucial.
We have made 10 shipments in the last 11 years, totaling more than 70,000 heads exported with the most demanding standards.

CATTLE BORKERAGE

In a personalized way and working together with livestock producers, AgroSocio consigns livestock throughout the country.
We participate in replacement businesses, finished cattle for sale to slaughterhouses and also with animals that are marketed to Feedlots.
We have been members of the Livestock Consignees Association of Uruguay since 2005.

PRODUCTION AGRICULTURAL/LIVESTOCK

AgroSocio manages and produces in partnership more than 30,000 hectares of fields for various clients. The main one, in terms of extension, is the international agribusiness investment group Southern Harvest Partners, with whom we have been working since 2009.
With approximately 6,000 cattle heads in a complete cycle system and a termination of the same to feedlot, AgroSocio develops an efficient cattle production in 8 establishments throughout Uruguay. In Paraguay, it is developed in 3 establishments located in the Lower Chaco where the raising prevails as a productive system.
Agriculture consists of Soybeans, Sorghum and Corn as the main summer crops; while in winter they are Wheat, oats and Colza/Canola.

SALTO GRANDE FRUITS

Located in El Espinillar, Salto, Uruguay, AgroSocio creates and manages the company Salto Grande Fruits (Kattegat SRL). Company dedicated to the production and marketing of fruit.
Production:
300 hectares of Lemon, 300 hectares of Tangerines (50% Tango), 22 hectares of Kaki/Persimmon (Bright Red), 120 hectares of Pecans, 60 hectares of Avocados/Avocado, 125 hectares of Pecan Nuts, 50 hectares of Oranges

AGROLIBRES

At the beginning of 2018, AgroSocio decided to take the rice business one step further, vertically integrating itself into the chain (in partnership with Euricom Spa) through the acquisition of a rice drying, storage and processing plant in the province of Corrientes, Argentina.
Located in the main rice growing area of the country, the plant has two independent reception hoppers for wet rice, three dryers with a daily capacity of 600 tons per day and a static storage capacity of 27,000MT.
In 2021, Agrolibres redoubles its bet by integrating itself into rice production, managed by a front-line team with more than 20 years of experience.
For the 2023 harvest we expect to plant 2,200 hectares (within a 50km radius of the plant) estimating our own production of approximately 18,000 tons plus an additional 10,000 tons of associative agreements of independent producers.
